Case Tracker for USCIS is a local-first personal organizational tool that allows users to monitor publicly available status updates for U.S. immigration cases, view processing time estimates, read agency news feeds, and check visa bulletins.

The app displays public information retrieved directly from official government agency web services. The app does not alter, create, or influence official government records.

Local Case Storage: Case receipt numbers added to the app are stored locally on your device's private storage. They are never sold, shared, or backed up to external advertising servers.
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or provide personal identifiers (such as name, phone number, SSN, or email address) to use the tracking functions.
Network Requests: When looking up a case status or processing time, the app transmits only the receipt number or form type over secure HTTPS connection to fetch official status data.
No Tracking / Analytics SDKs: The application does not contain advertising trackers, behavioral profiling, or third-party advertising SDKs.
No Push Notification Tokens: Status updates and alerts are generated locally on your device during refresh cycles. No remote push notification tokens are tracked or transmitted.

4. App Permissions

The app requests minimal Android permissions:

android.permission.INTERNET: Required to send HTTPS requests to query public government status endpoints and display updates.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Since your tracked case numbers are stored locally on your mobile device:

You can delete any tracked case number individually from inside the app at any time.
Clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app permanently deletes all saved case numbers and local preferences instantly.
